Designer and architect, Tapinassi has been working in Florence for over 40 years as a furniture and accessory designer, assisted by architect Manzoni with whom he shares an aesthetic affinity. Their talent has allowed them to work in their many diverse and various fields. Manzoni is a teacher in Design and Relief and Diagnostics of Fabric at the University of Florence. He lives and works in Florence where he has a studio together with Roberto Tapinassi.
Together, the Manzoni & Tapinassi Studio designed Ludovic for Cattelan. The size and hugging shape, the elegant and almost retro look of the headboard gives this bed an ergonomic structure and aristocratic appeal. While the thin and edgy matt bronze white or graphite embossed lacquered steel feet create a perfect contrast between classic and modern, the upholstery is covered in synthetic leather, fabric, synthetic nubuck, micro nubuck, Leathertex or soft leather.
